Important: Not all stations are able to stream over the BIS network.
- Check that your APN settings are correct.

I keep getting “Player
can’t stream station” error. What’s wrong?
There can be a number of issues:
- The station you have selected
is not broadcasting at this time (not a 24 hour station).
- The station’s streaming
server has reached its streaming limit.
- Geographical streaming restrictions
(eg. restricted broadcasting outside certain regions).
How much streaming data will it use?

I can’t find a particular
station!
Go to
http://miroamer.com/info/contact and tell us more about that station that is
missing.
Why do some of the stations
not play on the application when they play on the miRoamer web page?
- The audio format may not
be supported on the device.
- The stream’s bitrates
may not be supported on the device.
What audio codecs are supported
in the most current version (v.?)?
WMA, MP3 and AAC
Can I choose the stream
bitrates and codecs to stream?

The application will automatically select the best bitrate and codec
available for your device.

my favourites list?

What is BIS-B?
BIS-B refers to the BlackBerry
Network. This network is available to users who subscribe to use this
service.
What is WAP?
WAP is the data network
provided by your carrier. Stations streaming over this network are credited
against your personal data usage plan. IMPORTANT: You should check and
understand your carrier data usage charges, including data allocations
and excess data charges. For more information on streaming data consumption
please refer to table
HERE
What are my network streaming
options?
You may select from either
WAP, BIS-B and WiFi
I get different results
for local radio if I ‘m using WAP or WiFi. Why is that?
- WAP – Uses cell tower
triangulation, which typically returns a more accurate location position.
- WiFi – Uses your device’s
IP address to calculate your geographic location, which is not as accurate
as cell phone triangulation positioning.
The streaming audio drops
out intermittently. Why is this happening?
- A loss of connectivity due
to poor cellular reception.
- Check with your carrier
for service coverage and quality of service in your area of use.
What is the difference between
the paid and unpaid versions?
The paid version does not
contain any banner ads and has an in-application support feature.
I’ve received a link to
download the application and when I clicked on the link it does not
work.
